I received this product and to my surprise it was terrible tasting. NovoAndina agreed to give me a refund if I returned the product, so I paid return shipping and gave them the tracking number. Over a month later, I still haven't received a refund and they stopped replying to my emails.

I have been purchasing this product for six years. The powdered tea leaves vary slightly in taste each time, however I expect that because it is from plants after all! This recent purchase I was DELIGHTED by the professional and speedy customer service. For years I have struggled to receive the right product, or it has taken a ridiculous amount of time, or I have had to actively inquire weekly about the status of my order. What ever has changed on the business side recently is a welcome change. Bravo!

I had heard that Yungas was the most potent of the NovoAndina teas.. Although I thus expected the tea to be a bit stronger, I was pleasantly surprised by its great taste (compared to foreign products I've tried). Also, I know NovoAndina has had some issues with delivery time in the past. This was my first order from them, and I did not have a negative experience in terms of delivery time.. AT ALL! I received my order after 6 business days! I have been recommending to friends in the mean time!

While waiting for my shipment, delayed by problems out of NovoAndina's control, I ordered and received powdered coca tea from another company. Same price, same description, no brand on the product. NovoAndina's tea is SO much better, taste, texture, and energizing effect. No comparison! Thank you!

It's been a while since I ordered the yungas, but it was just as good as I remember. Yungas will always be one of my favorites because it has a nice, slightly sweet taste and aroma.

This company rocks! These guys literally respond to emails in seconds. They had a supply back order which was beyond their control but they took ownership of the problem and managed to push the back order through in record time. Amazon and other big companies should take notes from these guys!

I believe that Yungas variety was the first appellation of coca tea marketed by Novoandina Store. In my opinion, this is still the best of all in terms of taste and quality. It is highly reliable in both of these qualities over the past 4 years.
Buying the powdered tea is the most economical format, per pound. It is a little less convenient -- I put a few scoops in my teapot and brew, then wait for the powder to settle or filter through a Melitta coffee cone.
I've tried almost all of the other brands / appellations. In my opinion, this is the best coca tea on the market.

I received my first order of yungas this morning and immediately began making a pot of tea. This is by far the best I have tried. In comparison to the Caranavi and Delisse, the yungas has a slightly sweet taste and aroma, which is very much to my liking. I will definitely be ordering the yungas again! Thanks Novoandina for providing a great product!

I don't enjoy the flavor of some of the other appelations of tea sold here. My favorites are the plane jane Yungas teas. To me, these are the highest quality and I'm never disappointed. Yungas tea bags or Windsor aire, likewise. They smell nicely greeen and don't have highly aromatic "eucaliptous" scents which are unappetizing (Caravelli). Don't believe that the unusual varieties a are somehow favored. The unusual varieties are acquired tastes. The old standards are the best. Again, they also have very consistent quality.

I've tried most of the coca products at Novoandina and this is the best. I enjoy the taste of Yungas tea more than Caranavi. It is also of uniform quality through the year. In my own calculations, this is the most economical form of the Yungas tea, though if you like the whole leaves or the convenience of tea bags, you may prefer to pay a little more. If you're not sure what to try, go for Yungas.
